Southern Patio and Screen SMS Consent

Southern Patio and Screen uses SMS to communicate with customers who have agreed to receive text messages. Messages may include estimate appointment confirmations and reminders, scheduling changes, estimate and quote follow-ups, project and installation updates, customer-support conversations, review requests, and occasional promotional or seasonal offers.

1. A customer calls or speaks with a Southern Patio and Screen employee to request an estimate, schedule an appointment, discuss a quote or project, or request customer support.
2. Before enrolling the customer, the employee reads the complete verbal SMS disclosure.
3. The employee asks for a clear yes-or-no response.
4. Only an explicit affirmative response results in SMS enrollment.
5. A no, silence, or ambiguous response is treated as no consent.
6. The customer may still request an estimate, schedule service, or make a purchase without agreeing to SMS.
7. After consent, Southern Patio records:
   • the mobile number;
   • the consent method;
   • the consent date and time;
   • the employee or representative; and
   • the disclosure or script version.

• Only a clear “yes” constitutes consent.
• Consent is not a condition of purchase.
• Message frequency varies.
• Message and data rates may apply.
• Reply STOP to opt out.
• Reply HELP for assistance.
• Consent applies only to Southern Patio and Screen's messaging program.
• Southern Patio must not treat an inquiry, quote request, or phone-number submission by itself as SMS consent.
